This collaboration grew from a shared philosophy: that beauty lives in the details, and that what you touch daily—whether a brush, a cup, or a moment of pause—has the power to shape how you move through the day. Together, we set out to create something timeless, functional, and deeply beautiful.
Behind the Design
From the beginning, we were drawn to the idea of creating a piece that could live effortlessly across rituals. After exploring designs meant for specific products, we kept returning to a simpler truth: the most meaningful rituals are the ones you make your own.
The result is The Marble Cup & Coaster Set, a sculptural duo designed to hold what matters most. Hand-carved from matcha-toned Katni marble, each piece carries its own distinct veining, which subtly mirrors hair itself: organic, fluid, and individual. Anastasio Home founder Gabriela Anastasio has incorporated braided forms into several of her designs, and we were immediately drawn to how they echo hair and crowns, adding dimension, movement, and a subtle sense of whimsy.
Bringing It to Life
We brought the collection to life through the same lens it was designed with: versatility, restraint, and intention. Styled together or separately, the cup and coaster move easily throughout the home, adapting to different moments of the day.
We were especially drawn to the matcha-toned stone: Its warmth and softness felt like a natural extension of Crown Affair’s signature green, while still feeling elevated and enduring. It’s a color that invites calm without fading into the background. Above all, this collaboration was about honoring individuality. There’s no “right” way to use these pieces—only the way that feels right to you.
From The Founders
At its core, the collaboration reflects a shared belief in ritual. Crown Affair Founder Dianna Cohen has always believed that what we return to daily gives life its texture and meaning. “Working with Anastasio Home felt natural because we both value craftsmanship and timeless design.
